David Daggett and Brent Bennett Discuss Upcoming Buddy Walk on Triad Today

Mayor Allen Joines, Brent Bennett, and David Daggett

On Saturday, October 19th, Attorney David Daggett of Daggett Shuler, Attorneys at Law appeared on Triad Today along with Brent Bennett, a board member of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem (DSAGWS). They talked about the DSAGWS’s upcoming Buddy Walk, which Daggett Shuler and Safe Sober Prom Night are proud to sponsor. Watch the segment:

The DSAGWS serves those living with Down syndrome in the greater Winston-Salem area. They provide resources, help, and guidance to families while raising awareness and promoting inclusiveness at the same time.

The 19th Annual Buddy Walk will take place on October 26th at West Forsyth High School in Clemmons. Currently, there are over 700 participants expected, as well as 200 volunteers. The goal is to raise $75,000 with this year’s walk, and that goal is very close to being met. In addition to the walk, there will also be a talent show, live music, and a raffle. A good time is guaranteed for all! There is still time to register, and you can do so here.

Later in the program, David joined writer Ogi Overman and ABC45’s Carol Andrews to participate in the Roundtable segment. Topics discussed ranged from local politics and news to national issues. Watch the Roundtable discussion:
