"Standing with disabled people through their fight for disability benefits is an honor and a privilege."
Megan Youngblood is an attorney on our Social Security Disability team. She is dedicated to helping disabled individuals obtain the benefits to which they are entitled. Megan is motivated to help others obtain disability benefits because she understands just how quickly an injury, or an illness, can turn a personโs life upside down. She recognizes how difficult it is for people to manage a health crisis without the financial security of income from a job and it drives her to help her clients navigate the Social Security process as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Megan thrives on becoming thoroughly familiar with her clientโs health issues, both physical and mental, so that she can assist clientโs in making the most impactful presentation of their disabilities to administrative law judges. She has experience handling a wide range of disabilities including spinal injuries and disease, cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders, immune system disorders, neurological disorders, and mental health disorders to name a few.
Megan has over a decade of legal experience, previously practicing in the areas of family law and workersโ compensation. Megan and the Social Security Disability team will work hard to get clients all the disability benefits to which they are entitled.
Megan has a wide variety of personal interests. She enjoys traveling and sports with her husband and two sons, but also tries to sneak in time for exercise and reading as well. She is active in her community serving on both the Childrenโs Council and the Church Council at her church and on the PTA at her sonโs school.
