Attorneys David Daggett and Griff Shuler appeared on Triad Today alongside Nestor Gutierrez Flores, local high school winner of the Safe Sober Prom Night T-shirt Design Scholarship award.

Safe Sober Prom Night is celebrating its 27^th anniversary this year! Since the program began over 500,000 students in the Triad have taken the Safe Sober “Do It Right!” Pledge, agreeing to stay drug and alcohol free on prom night.

Each year part of Safe Sober Prom Night includes the popular SSPN T-shirt design scholarship program. Students from across the Triad enter their Safe Sober Prom Night design, hoping to win a $500 scholarship, and their winning design appearing on 15,000 t-shirts distributed to high school students throughout the Triad.

This years winner, Nestor Gutierrez Flores, a student at Career Center/West Forsyth High School, was beaming when he was given his award. “Nestor did an excellent job on his T-shirt design, and we are proud to have him join the group of talented, and committed students that have won this prestigious honor,” said David Daggett.
