Kindness and Understanding

Did you know that John Koontz and the law firm of Daggett Shuler can help you? My brother Mark suffered a stroke six months ago, during the pandemic and while out of work, severed from his employer of 30 years. The stroke left him with global aphasia, and the diagnosis clear he was unable to work, incapable of caring for himself, or for his disabled wife. He lives in Florida, where he attended school and was working. Our family was devastated and overwhelmed, unsure how to help him long term, and shared our story. A friend pointed me to enlisting help locally with Daggett Shuler. All seemed daunting at first, but once we connected, no time was wasted! It did not matter that Mark lives in Florida–we can get help from John Koontz and the team at Daggett Shuler right here in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Considering the pandemic, meetings took place by phone and all necessary documents were shared and passed through the law firm’s secure portal. It is simple, just set aside the time, discuss and collect information, prepare and submit. All of the staff at Daggett Shuler treated us with kindness and understanding they made us feel that we matter. Amanda diligently and effectively explained the process, guided us through each step, and together we completed and submitted the application for disability online in February. Mark is now receiving his disability income, directly to his bank account, the income he earned and deserves, and expedited thanks to the law firm of Daggett Shuler. Thank you Amanda and John!

I would like to take time to thank the staff at Daggett Shuler Attorneys at Law. To Megan Youngblood for helping me get my disability started; thank you so much for everything!
