DSAGWS 3-2-1 Deacon Dash Featured on Triad Today

Griff Shuler, McNeil Cronin, and David Daggett

Attorneys David Daggett and Griff Shuler of Daggett Shuler Law will appear on Triad Today with host Jim Longworth to discuss the upcoming 3-2-1 Deacon Dash, which benefits the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem (DSAGWS). Joining David and Griff will be Dr. McNeil Cronin, father of a daughter with Down syndrome, and President of the DSAGWS board. The Triad Today program airs on WXLV ABC45 and WMYV My48 on Saturday, February 15th, and Sunday, February 16th.

The 3-2-1 Deacon Dash will take place on Saturday, March 21st (which also happens to be World Down Syndrome Day) at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. The race is a 5K, but there’s a bonus: an additional .11-mile “dash” at the end! The additional distance represents the 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome that those with Down syndrome have.

The event is always fun for the entire family, and the entire Triad community is welcome. Registration can be completed here, and runs through March 20th. In addition to the race itself, there are lots of great activities for everyone, including music, things to do for kids, refreshments, and games.

Daggett Shuler, as well as their Safe Sober Prom Night program, are proud sponsors of the event. For the past several years, David Daggett has emceed the race, and this year is no different. The 3-2-1 Deacon Dash is one of his favorite events, and he is grateful for the opportunity to support this wonderful cause.
