Willie Mason and Friends on Triad Today

On Saturday, May 18^th, attorneys David Daggett and Griff Shuler appeared on Triad Today with Willie Mason, founder and director of Willie Mason and Friends.

Willie Mason and Friends is a local group that brings its music ministry message to the Triad with events throughout the year. The group was founded in 2009 after Mr. Mason had a recurring dream instructing him to gather people to create a vocal group that would bring their message of sharing the love of Jesus Christ with everyone.

This year, the group is excited to celebrate their 15^th anniversary at their annual concert, ‘Stronger Together.’ The show will feature the choir and welcomes this year’s special guest,  Leo Jason Barnwell of Wingspan. Over the years, David and Mr. Mason have become close friends. David discussed the importance of music in peoples’ lives; specifically, how it can bridge communities and speak to all types of people.

Daggett Shuler’s support of Willie Mason and Friends is one of many ways that they support the Triad community. They believe that when businesses support the arts, there is a large benefit to everyone. The Daggett Shuler Safe Sober program and annual Back-to-School Backpack Program are initiatives that support the community’s young people. They believe in setting an example and supporting those working to improve the quality and health of our communities.
