David Daggett to Announce 7th Annual Mission 5K Run/Walk

On November 3rd, 2018, at 8:00am, attorney David Daggett of Daggett Shuler Law joins Mission: Feet First to announce the seventh-annual Mission 5K. The unique event features a 5K run, 5K walk, and one-mile fun run. Details on this special race—including how participants can register—are available here. The Mission 5K event is a combination chip-timed 5K run, 5K walk, and one-mile fun run featuring Christian scripture along the route and music provided by WBFJ. All residents of the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission participate in the Mission 5K event in some capacity.

The Winston-Salem Rescue Mission can house up to 100 men, and assists them with basic needs and resources. Over the years, the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission has helped thousands of men suffering from homelessness and addiction get back on their feet. Event sponsors include:

About Mission: Feet First

Mission: Feet First is a 501(c)3 charity founded in 2010 by Emily and Keith Davis, the owners of Fleet Feet Sports and New Balance Winston-Salem. Created to help those in need in the local community, Mission: Feet First fits the homeless with new and like-new running shoes. Every year, the program provides shoes for over 1,000 homeless community members and disadvantaged children.
