The 34^th annual YMCA Mistletoe Run is one of the largest races in the area with over 3,000 runners including a 1 mile 5k and half marathon. David Daggett has been super busy lately as he MC’d another great race in the community.

An important goal of the YMCA is to help overcome childhood obesity by helping children stay active and providing the means for those who cannot afford to participate. The funds raised from the YMCA Mistletoe Run help provide the financial assistance many kids need in order to be able to participate in youth sports.

Last year alone the Mistletoe Run raised $70,000 with 3,019 runners registered for the race. Out of all those who registered 418 were kids that’s 17% of all runners!

We were thrilled to be a part of such a great race and couldn’t have been more excited to stand at the finish line to give the very last finishers the same championship reception. It is organizations like the YMCA that helps bring our community together in support of a wonderful cause.
