Later this week, David Daggett of Daggett Shuler Law will visit the set of Triad Today to promote the second-annual St. Peter’s We Care 5K Run/Walk for Hunger. Triad Today airs:
- Saturdays at 7:30am on WXLV ABC45
- Sundays at 11:00am on WMYV MY48
The event—scheduled for Saturday, November 17th at 8:00am—is a charity fundraiser sponsored by St. Peter’s Church and World Outreach Center in Winston-Salem. Participants can register for the event at Jones Racing Company.
The We Care 5K Run/Walk for Hunger supports the We Care House — an outreach program that supports the needs of the community through the distribution of food and clothing. Their work includes the We Care Garden, which grows and distributes produce through the We Care House. St. Peter’s members, guests, and friends can support this great cause and help fight hunger by:
- Becoming a sponsor
- Registering for the race
- Volunteering for activities
About St. Peter’s
St. Peter’s Church and World Outreach Center was founded in Winston-Salem in 1928 with 25 members—and has since expanded to over 3,500 members. Under the leadership of Bishop Dr. James C.
