Down Syndrome affects almost 6,000 infants each year in the United States and continues to be the most common chromosomal disorder. Every 1 in 700 babies are diagnosed with Down Syndrome.
An important fundraising event coming soon is the 3-2-1 Deacon Dash that supports people with Down Syndrome. Our own David Daggett will be announcing this important race. If you would like to help support the Piedmont Down Syndrome Support Network please join the 3-2-1 Deacon Dash on March 25 as a runner, team captain, race day sponsor, volunteer, or making a donation to the organization.
The race is held each year by the Piedmont Down Syndrome Support Network to bring the community together to support a great cause.
