David Daggett Completes Ironman 70.3 World Championship Race

This past weekend was the Ironman 70.3 World Championship held in Chattanooga, Tenn. This race is comprised of a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run.

Throughout the year, an impressive 130,000 athletes around the globe compete in races attempting to qualify for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship. This year, more than 4,000 qualified athletes came to compete, representing over 70 different countries.



The Chattanooga, Tennessee location provided a beautiful and scenic backdrop of Lookout Mountain, while spectators gathered on bridges overlooking the Tennessee river where the swim leg took place.


Attorney David Daggett was 48th in the 55-59 age group with a time of 5:20.13. He also competed in the Ironman Executive Challenge, where he was first in the over 55 division.
