Shawan Gabriel, the CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Services of North Carolina, joined David and Griff to discuss the organizationโs work in the Triad community. Mr. Gabriel previously served as director of the Winston Lake Family YMCA.
According to Mr. Gabriel, Big Brothers Big Sisters provides caring adult mentorship in the lives of children in the Triad. He announced Big Brothers Big Sisters will be opening a new facility funded by generous donors within the local community to serve as a mentoring center. He states the new facility will help the organization usher in a new era of mentorship and service.
