On Saturday, November 23rd, Attorneys David Daggett and Griff Shuler of Daggett Shuler, Attorneys at Law appeared on Triad Today along with Erin Craver, Executive Director of the Kernersville Family YMCA. They discussed the upcoming YMCA Mistletoe Run, which will take place on December 7th and raises funds to help fight childhood obesity. 100% of the proceeds go directly to this cause and directly benefit programs based in the Triad. Some of these monies go towards offering financial assistance so that all can benefit from the fitness programs and activities that the YMCA offers.
Now in its 36th year, the Mistletoe Run has a history of success – in 2018 alone, over $76,000 dollars were raised, and nearly 20% of the participants were children. This year, 3,000 participants are expected. Registration is currently open and will continue through the morning of the race.
