Daggett Shuler’s Sports Equipment Drive with Beyond Sports
Daggett Shuler is partnering with Beyond Sports to host a Sports Equipment Donation Drive benefiting youth across the Triad. Donate new or gently used gear like cleats, gloves, and balls from April 27 through May 15 in Winston-Salem and help make sports more accessible for local kids.
At Daggett Shuler, we are committed to giving back to our community. That’s why we’re excited be hosting a Sports Equipment Donation Drive in partnership with Beyond Sports. This will benefit young athletes across the Triad by providing access to equipment they need to play, grow, and thrive.

A Meaningful Partnership with Beyond Sports
Our partnership with Beyond Sports reflects values we care deeply about: community health, active lifestyles, and service to others. Their commitment to expanding access to sports and creating meaningful youth development opportunities is remarkable, and it’s an honor to support work that makes such a lasting impact.
One program that stands out in particular is Operation Triad Play. Through this initiative, Beyond Sports collaborates with local police departments to equip squad cars with sports gear. Officers can then share that equipment with young people they meet, whether during routine patrols or while responding to calls.
These simple, everyday moments can become something much more. A soccer ball or a pair of cleats can open the door to conversation, connection, and trust. Programs like Operation Triad Play help:

About Beyond Sports
Founded in 2021 by Mike Kennedy and Micheala Amidon, Beyond Sports was created to address disparities in access and equity in youth sports, particularly in Title I schools in Forsyth and Guilford Counties and beyond.
In 2023, Beyond Sports joined forces with NC Fusion, uniting around a shared mission to serve underserved communities through sport. Together, they focus on expanding access for youth who may otherwise be left behind. By identifying access gaps and providing equipment, resources, and opportunities, Beyond Sports helps build healthier communities while supporting our youth both on and off the field.
