Attorney-Michael-Hummel

Daggett Shuler, Attorneys at Law is delighted to welcome attorney Michael Hummel to the firm. Originally from Winston-Salem, Michael even took the Safe Sober Prom Night pledge at Mount Tabor High School when he was a student. He is excited to return to the Triad!

Michael is pleased to join Daggett Shuler and has a passion for delivering service and excellence to injured and disabled individuals. His talents, experience, and skills will help make the Daggett Shuler team even stronger.

An attorney with over thirteen years of experience, Michael holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2007) as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia (2004). Prior to the private practice of law, Michael clerked for the Charlotte City Attorney’s office, as well as the Federal Public Defender’s office for the Middle District of North Carolina. He has extensive experience in workers’ compensation law. He has also represented clients in personal injury, premises liability, general liability, and insurance coverage matters.

“We are thrilled to have Michael join the firm,” says Managing Partner David Daggett. “He brings experience and depth to our workers’ compensation department, and we know that he has a bright future ahead of him with Daggett Shuler.”

When not working, Michael likes to run and enjoy the outdoors with his wife and young son. He and his family look forward to settling in Winston-Salem and exploring all the Triad has to offer.

I highly recommend Daggett Shuler. I had the pleasure of working with Sheila and Attorney James Cohn. I can truly say Sheila made the process easy. Words can’t express how much I appreciate James. I walked away extremely satisfied with the result. If you’re looking for an excellent workers’ compensation attorney, look no further! You won’t be disappointed.
