On March 16th, attorney partners David Daggett and Griff Shuler of Daggett Shuler Law visited Triad Today to discuss changes to the Piedmont Down Syndrome Support Network (PDSSN)—now known as the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem (DSA of GWS). Triad Today airs locally on WXLV ABC45 and WMYV My48.
Joining the discussion was Brent Bennett, a member of the DSA of GWS and friend to David and Griff. During their time on the set, they discussed the upcoming 3-2-1 Deacon Dash—a race David will announce and Daggett Shuler Law is proud to sponsor.
In a later segment, David also participated in the show’s Roundtable Discussion—a summary of local concerns, civic or political issues, and current events. Video clips of both segments are available below.
About the 3-2-1 Deacon Dash
The 3-2-1 Deacon Dash is a 5K race with an extra .11 mile added. The race raises awareness and generates support for individuals in the community with Down Syndrome. The event, now in its fourth year, is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. Registration for the race closes on Tuesday, March 26th.
