Daggett Shuler and Winston-Salem Police Department Help Local Families Gear Up for Another School Year

It’s hard to believe, but the summer will soon be winding to a close and giving way to another school year. At Daggett Shuler Law, our attorneys and staff believe wholeheartedly that we all play an important role in ensuring that every young person in the Piedmont Triad community gets a proper education. Our attorneys and staff are parents too, and we know how expensive it can be to supply a student with the materials they need in order to succeed in the classroom.

That is why we created the “Daggett Shuler Backpack Program” to help give local elementary school students a leg up during the upcoming school year. Daggett Shuler will provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies to local elementary schools, working closely with our great friends at the Winston-Salem Police Department.

As part of the “2^nd Annual Daggett Shuler Backpack Program,” we will deliver 250 backpacks stuffed with items from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School approved supply list to five local elementary schools. The backpacks will be filled with everything a student needs to have a successful year!

Our hope is that these backpacks will help ease the financial burden of the back-to-school season, especially for families that are financially strained.

This weekend, Daggett Shuler Law Attorneys and Founding Partners David Daggett and Griff Shuler will appear on Triad Today to discuss the upcoming 2016 Backpack Program. David and Griff will be joined on Triad Today by Chief Barry Rountree of the Winston-Salem Police Department.

At Daggett Shuler, we are honored to once again be partnering with the brave men and women of the Winston-Salem Police Department on this wonderful community program.
