This was a catastrophic injury case involving a minor child where the at-fault driver was uninsured. We located five separate sources of insurance coverage that paid the full amount of each of their policy limits to compensate the client for her injuries. Because the minor was covered by Medicaid, we also petitioned Medicaid for a reduction in what was owed to them and set up a Special Needs Trust to preserve the child’s future benefits.
