Attorney David Daggett Completes the 2016 Ironman World Championship!

David Daggett, managing partner of Daggett Shuler, Attorneys at Law, completed the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii this past Saturday 10/8!

An Ironman triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike followed by a 26.2 mile marathon run for a 140.6 mile total journey. David completed this grueling triathlon race with a time of 12:49:56!

“What a thrill to compete in the Ironman World Championships. Eight times over 26 years has really been special,” said Daggett. “It was a tough day, but always a thrill and an accomplishment.”

Attorney Daggett, 56, has completed 182 triathlons, including 27 Ironman competitions. For an eighth time he qualified to compete in the Hawaii Ironman World Triathlon Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

As always, the Hawaii Ironman World Championships offered the best endurance test in sports. Over 2,300 athletes competed in the event this year, which originated in 1978 with only 15 competitors.
