13th Annual Kids for Kids Youth Triathlon Wrap-Up

The annual Kids for Kids Triathlon is not only a fun and healthy event for children, it also benefits charitable organizations throughout the Triad. Over the past 13 years, the Kids for Kids Triathlon has raised over $80,000 for local kids charities in North Carolina. This year, one of the local charities awarded a $2,000 check was the AJ Linville Foundation that supports children and families in North Carolina who are in need of prosthetic limbs.

Daggett Shuler has been a proud sponsor the annual Kids for Kids Triathlon in Winston-Salem for the past 13 years. The Kids for Kids Triathlon is an annual event that attracts children between the ages of 7 to 14 from across the Piedmont Triad, and gets them swimming, biking, and running with groups of their friends and peers. Attorney David Daggett is an avid cyclist, runner and swimmer and has participated in over 170 triathlons, including 24 Ironman competitions. This year, David served as both the emcee and finish line announcer for this wonderful event.

At Daggett Shuler, our attorneys and staff place a great deal of value on supporting community events that promote activity and engagement in young people. We believe that getting kids to participate in sports and fun activities with their peers instills important values that will last a lifetime, such as perseverance, dedication and a commitment to healthy living.
