Safe Sober 2021: 31 Years of Making a Difference

2021-Safe-Sober

Dear Parents, Teachers, Community Leaders, and Colleagues,

Wow – even during these crazy times Safe Sober continues to have a positive influence on our students – 31 years and still going strong!   We’d like to extend our deepest thanks for your encouragement and continued support for Safe Sober. Our program relies on support from our community members, and we thank you so much for your continued participation! We couldn’t do it without you.

This year the 30-year tradition of Safe Sober Prom Night evolved to Safe Sober at Graduation. We couldn’t let our young people down because it is a staple of the high school experience in the Triad. Our Safe Sober program is evolving into a new and exciting program that can serve the needs of the youth of the Triad, no matter the unusual circumstances we all find ourselves in! We can’t wait for this new chapter in keeping our students safe and welcome the entire community’s participation.

At Daggett Shuler we have a passion for our young people – they are our future and the future of our communities.   Please accept our sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone involved in making the Safe Sober program such a wonderful success over the past 30 plus years.  We look forward to further expanding and evolving Safe Sober in 2022 and beyond.

Reaching out to high school students in our community and making a positive impact in their lives has been deeply rewarding. We will continue to develop new ways to support the Safe Sober mission in the coming months; we’re excited for you to see what we have in store!

We truly appreciate your continued support!
