Local Students Honored at Northwest Guilford Middle School

On Thursday, September 17th, Northwest Guilford Middle School awarded students that were handpicked by their teachers for exemplifying respect in the classroom! Attorney David Daggett was excited to speak at this very important award ceremony and discussed the importance of respect not only in the classroom, but as well as in every aspect of life.

The award ceremony included students, teachers and parents of Northwest Guilford Middle School at the Spotlight Honors Breakfast. David Daggett is well known around the Piedmont Triad community for his commitment to mentoring students, and he was delighted to be a featured speaker at this important event!

The Spotlight Honors Breakfast highlighted the importance of respect in the classroom, as well as the importance of having respect for yourself and pursuing excellence in all that you do. Attorney David Daggett suggested to the students that in order to receive respect, you must first give respect to others on a daily basis. There was so much encouragement at the award ceremony, and students were told to never give up on their dreams of making the world a better place.

For over 25 years, attorney David Daggett, as well as the attorneys and staff at Daggett Shuler Law, have forged a strong connection with the students and young people of the Piedmont Triad. Through the Safe Sober Prom Night program, Daggett Shuler Law reaches out to local high school students and encourages them to make healthy decisions when it comes to abstaining from drugs and alcohol during prom.

Events like the Northwest Guilford Middle School Spotlight Honors Breakfast remind us that inspiring our young people is a year-round responsibility”. David Daggett
