David Daggett Guest Speaker at Pain Physicians Conference in Miami Beach

Each year West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians hosts a conference inviting their brightest minds to discuss new technology and methods for treating patients with pain. The goal of this year’s program (PAIN) was to hold a unique and dynamic conference discussing the most cutting-edge therapies that are available to help patients treat and manage pain.

This year’s annual meeting was hosted in Miami Beach from July 28-30th.  Neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, pain management physicians, doctors, and professors of medicine recognized in the field from all over the world were in attendance.

Attorney and triathlete David Daggett was a featured speaker at the conference. He spoke to the attending medical professionals on “Litigation in Medicine – Understanding the Process and Risk Mitigation”.

The discussions on new ways to properly treat pain, while also educating those who attended the conference, was hugely successful and very well received.

David Daggett participated in many roles at this year’s PAIN conference including:

  • Holding a mock trial
  • Hosting a panel discussion
  • Hosting the 5k race as director, starter, course marshal, runner and awards presenter
