The 2017 Wake Forest Fall symposium, “Driving Around the World in One Day: Traffic Liability and the Future of Autonomous Vehicles,” was a huge success. The event, sponsored by Daggett Shuler, Attorneys at Law, explored the various approaches to traffic accident liability around the world.

This was the first World Tort Law Society symposium to be held in the United States and our very own David Daggett, managing partner at Daggett Shuler Law, was the only local NC lawyer to speak at the event. Attendees included distinguished speakers from the legal and automobile community from around the world. With speakers from universities including Stanford, Harvard and the University of Michigan.

Each speaker discussed the laws from their respective countries/areas and what approaches they thought worked best and improvements that could be made to motor vehicle accident liability laws.
