Come out to Tanglewood Park Amphitheatre this Saturday, September 12th to Celebrate Undy the Stars! This event, full of family fun and music, celebrates the lives of and raises awareness for those affected by Gastrointestinal Cancers.
Enjoy local Food Trucks or pack your own picnic to enjoy while listening to tunes from the band Bounce! There will also be a Doctors Dunking Booth, Corn Hole, crafts and the night ends with a Lantern Release celebrating the lives of those lost to GI cancers.
Undy the Stars, sponsored by Novant Health, will be MC’d by our own David Daggett. Admission fees will go towards supporting local patients here in the Triad. “It is so important to have events like Undy the Stars in our community,” said David Daggett. “Raising awareness for GI cancers, what they are, how to identify and treat them, and also making sure that those directly affected have the support they need in their fight to recover.”
Gastrointestinal cancers include colorectal, anal, gastric, pancreatic, liver, gallbladder and small bowel cancers.
